Apart from the products delivered in buckets all dishes of Müller Menü can be heated in their packaging. These packages are suitable for boiling or microwave preparation. Our fresh and cold products are also suited for heating in a meal trolley.
Boiling
The boil-in-bag packages of Müller Menü can be gently heated or defrosted by boiling without losing texture or flavour. Different dishes and menu components can be boiled simultaneously, while large portions can easily be transferred into gastronorm bowls or other serving pots. It’s even easier with the single portioned bags: Simply grab the bag at one end, open it with scissors and transfer the contents onto a plate or a bowl. Voi-la, dinner is served!
Warming in a microwave
Fresh and frozen ready meals available in bowls with valve function can be quickly heated in a microwave without removing or piercing the lamination. These dishes retain their texture and flavour during the heating process. Boil-in-bag packaging should be slightly perforated and put on a plate before microwave heating.
Heating times
The following time specifications are meant as guide only. Values and can vary depending on the method dish type. Our frozen products have to be heated to at least 90°C, or reach 90°C in the core respectively in order to ensure optimal quality. Before preparing meals in a microwave, pierce the lid before cooking – menu bowls with valve function don’t require this.
Important: Always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for your machine before cooking.
